This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which Inferaq Academy (“we”, “us”, “our”) may provide refunds for courses, programmes, subscriptions, or services purchased through https://inferaq.academy (the “Platform”).
This policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK consumer protection laws.
2. General Principles
Refund eligibility depends on the type of programme, stage of access, and time elapsed
Project-based and cohort-based programmes involve resource allocation and instructor time
Once a course has commenced, refunds may be limited or unavailable
Statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
3. Cooling-Off Period (Digital Services)
In line with UK law:
You have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for digital services
If you request access to course materials immediately, you acknowledge that:
The cooling-off right may be reduced or waived once access begins
Where access has already started, refunds may be partial or not available, depending on usage.
4. Course Access & Commencement
A course is considered to have commenced when any of the following occurs:
Access to learning materials is granted
Live sessions begin
Project briefs or assignments are released
Mentoring or instructor support begins
Once a course has commenced, refunds are generally not available, except where required by law.
5. Refund Eligibility 5.1 Eligible for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund if:
You cancel within the cooling-off period and have not accessed course materials
The course is cancelled by Inferaq Academy
There is a material failure to deliver the advertised service
A refund is expressly stated in the course-specific terms
5.2 Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be issued for:
Courses or programmes already accessed or commenced
Failure to attend sessions or complete coursework
Change of personal circumstances
Dissatisfaction based on personal expectations
Failure to secure employment or internship outcomes
Missed deadlines or assessments
Breach of the Student Code of Conduct
6. Instalment & Subscription Payments
Instalment plans are binding commitments
Failure to continue payments does not cancel the agreement
Missed instalments may result in suspension of access
Refunds for instalment payments already made are generally not available once access has commenced.
7. Internship & Employability Services
Internship placement and employability support are value-added services
No refunds are issued based on:
Internship availability
Employer decisions
Job offer outcomes
Internships do not guarantee employment.
8. Programme Changes or Discontinuation
Inferaq Academy reserves the right to:
Modify course content, instructors, or schedules
Substitute equivalent learning experiences
If a programme is discontinued without a suitable alternative, a pro-rata refund may be issued.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
Refunds may be considered at our discretion in exceptional cases such as:
Serious illness
Bereavement
Other significant and verifiable hardship
Supporting documentation may be required.

We aim to respond within 10 working days.
11. Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method
Processing times may take 5–14 working days, depending on the payment provider
Transaction fees may be deducted where permitted
12. Chargebacks & Disputes
We encourage learners to contact us first before initiating chargebacks
Unauthorised chargebacks may result in:
Account suspension
Termination of access
13. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Inferaq Academy does not guarantee:
Job offers
Salary levels
Career progression timelines
Refunds will not be issued based on employment outcomes.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
